Sturbridge is made up of 152 single homes located off of 413 in Langhorne, Pa. Construction started in 1981 by Ryland and Toll Brothers. Homes range in size from 1348 square feet to 3026 square feet with the median being 1900 sq feet. It is located in Middletown township which has a lot to offer it's residents. Since most of the homes in Sturbridge were built in the early 1980's many have been updated and it's not uncommon to find find well maintained homes that are spacious. The smallest homes in the neighborhood start with 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths with 1348 square feet while the larger floor plans have a four bedroom layout with 2.5 baths with 2000 -3000 square feet. A Median lot lot size for the neighborhood is .20 acres so there is plenty of land to enjoy your rear yard.
Core Creek Park, is a large regional park in the Bucks County Park System. This 1185 acre park managed by Bucks County is a major recreation facility in Middletown township. Its numerous facilities include Lake Luxembourg and boat rental, picnic groves and pavilions, walking paths, woodlands and passive open space. Want to have a party? Core Creek rents out their picnic and pavilion areas for your enjoyment.
Core Creek Park is open for year-round recreation. The park features numerous grills and tables for picnicking and several miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding, walking and biking. Lake Luxembourg is open for fishing, ice fishing and boating. Part of the lake is open in winter months for ice skating. Core Creek Park also has several playgrounds, ball fields, tennis courts and a nature area. Core Creek Park is home to Core Creek Off Leash Dog Park, a landscaped membership park with separate facilities for large and small dogs, recognized as one of the top dog parks in the east. Amenities include sally ports for each section with member pass access control, running water with spigots for dogs and their handlers, benches, dog waste stations, and agility devices.
