Silverdale is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The population was 1,001 at the 2000 census. Silverdale is part of Pennridge School District.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.4 square miles, all of it land.
Located in Upper Bucks County, situated within the Northern region of Hilltown Township.
Silverdale with orignally part of Hilltown Township, until 1896. The borough was first named Portland, which was then changed to Lawndale in 1883. The borough was offically named Silverdale when it became incorporated. At one time, Silverdale was home to Silverdale Knitting Mills, Inc, which made it a center of clothing manufacturing.
