Eddington, Bucks County, Pa

Eddington is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The population was 3,406 at the 2000 census.

Eddington is an adjacent unincorporated communities within Bensalem Township that is grouped together in the CDP for statistical purposes. The CDP does not have any legal status as an incorporated municipality. Cornwells Heights is located a bit southwest of Eddington. Both communities use the Bensalem ZIP code, 19020.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.0 square miles, all of it land.

The Eddington is bounded on the south by Interstate 95, on the east by Street Road, on the north and west by Hulmeville Road, and on the west by Woodhaven Road. The Philadelphia city boundary is less than a mile to the west and north. The Delaware River is located 3.5 miles to the south-southeast. Like neighboring Andalusia, the area consists of middle-class single-family homes along a series of grid-style streets. The main roads are generally accepted as Street Road, Hulmeville Road, and Brown Avenue.
